Arriving at the end of the Champions League-winning generation, Dedê experienced it all at Borussia Dortmund. The era of Jan Koller and Rosický, where he won the UEFA Cup and a Bundesliga, but also the golden generation with Hummels, Götze, and Lewandowski. His infectious joy and loyalty to the club for 13 years made the solid Brazilian defender a favorite at the Westfalenstadion.
